But the case is different if you are following a carnivore diet. Your consumption might be doubled or even tripled. You will always look for fattier cuts, so we recommend that you can try the following cuts:
- Round steak.
- Top rump.
- Flat iron.
Also, the carnivore diet is not only restricted to beef, but the varieties are wide. Here are some options that really work well with the carnivore diet:
- Offal or organ meat such as liver, brain, tongue, kidneys, heart, and tripe
- Venison is also known as deer meat. It’s clean meat which is higher in protein and lowers in fats than beef.
- Turkey legs.
- Chicken legs and thighs.

Good news that dairy products are not off the list and simply because they are animals’ food and they have a lot of beneficial nutrition.
You can have them as a quick breakfast meal or as a snack between meals.
So, you can add the below items to your shopping list:
They come from animals, high in protein, plus they have fat and yolks, therefore eggs are the perfect choice to be added to the carnivore diet menu.
Not only chicken eggs, but duck eggs are also on the menu. Just put your chef’s hat and cook them the way you like, hard-boiled, soft boiled, hard scrambled, or soft scramble, it’s your call!
60% of your body is water! Drinking water during the day is really essential. 3 liters are the least you should drink per day. Some people say 2 liters are enough, but being on a carnivore diet, fruits and vegetables are off the menu, that’s why you should increase your drinking level to make it up for you.
- Coffee & tea
Drinking coffee and tea are okay during your day, but avoid adding sugar and make sure not to drink a lot of caffeine as it will dehydrate you.
In my opinion, caffeine is really helpful on exercise days as it gives you more power. So, for every cup you drink, you have to drink some extra water as well.
Green tea is a great option as well.
Your carnivore diet menu shouldn’t include
Everything that it’s not meat! Now you should know what you have to avoid it entirely during the carnivore diet:
– Grains (bread, cereals, and flour)
– Rice & pasta.
– Fruits & vegetables.
– Desserts (cakes and ice-cream)
– Seasoning and Sauces

Snacking is more like a habit even if you are eating meat day and night. Some people even snack when they are not hungry. Here is our list for your snacks time
